FM Conway Works 23rd June -5am 3rd July 2023

Dear Resident or Local Business,

Please see below a statement which has been released by FM Conway’s project team on the Finberry/Orbital Park Roundabout scheme.

Following ongoing discussions with Kent County Council regarding concerns relating to the long-term durability of two small sections of The Boulevard, between the Monument Way roundabout and the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road. FM Conway will be undertaking additional reconstruction works in these two areas.

These additional works, having commenced from Friday 23rd June 2023, will continue until 05:00 on Monday 3rd July 2023.

To allow these modifications to be undertaken safely, one access lane into the Boulevard will be closed.

Temporary traffic lights will be established on the Monument Way roundabout to assist with traffic control. Egress from the Orbital Business Park, during the closures, will be via Newtown Road and Crowbridge Road.

Convoy traffic management will also be established to allow large vehicles over 7.5T to egress from the Orbital Business Park past the works areas to the A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road in a controlled manner.

The A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road will be closed Eastbound from 21:00 on Friday 30th June until 05:00 on Monday 3rd July 2023.

Thank you once again for your patience whilst these works continue.

F M Conway, project team.
